Voicevale Group enters into a strategic partnership with Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Japan

Voicevale has entered into a strategic partnership with Toyota Tsusho of Japan by selling 20% of its shareholding.

Specialist importers of nuts, dried fruits & seeds, with offices in London, Paris, Hamburg and Beijing, Voicevale currently imports and distributes 55,000 tonnes of products to confectionery industries, breakfast cereal and biscuit manufacturers, retail packers, processors, and wholesalers. Voicevale’s turnover is in excess of $ 225 million.

Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Japan, (a trading company within the Toyota group) handles more than 25,000 tonnes of nuts and dried fruits in Japan and worldwide with a turnover of $ 125 million in this division alone.

Toyota Tsusho Corporation has seven divisions : produce & foodstuffs, metals, global production parts & logistics, automotive, machinery, energy & project, chemicals & electronics and consumer products.

The new alliance will focus on expanding Voicevale Group’s product offerings, benefiting from Toyota Tsusho’s expertise in numerous food joint ventures they have around the globe.

Voicevale and Toyota Tsusho also plan to actively pursue opportunities to invest in upstream projects in origin countries to add value to their strategic alliance.

Voicevale opens an office in Istanbul, Turkey

Voicevale’s fourth European office, after London, Paris and Hamburg, is opened in Istanbul, Turkey. Wishing to take advantage of the increased demand for Nuts and Dried Fruits in Turkey and the Middle East, Voicevale decided to open an office in Istanbul. Turkey’s current economic strength and its geographical position allow the country to be, not only an important destination for various Nuts, Dried fruits and Seeds that are consumed by its ever growing consumer base, but also to be an ideal International hub for imports to most Middle Eastern countries that are on its door step. Voicevale has partnered with Mr. Eytan Aji who will expand the company’s customer base in the area thanks to its long held expertise in various Nuts, Dried Fruits and Seeds that are not grown in Turkey.

Quinoa (pronounce Keen-Wah) is a grain-like crop grown primarily for its edible seeds. It originated from the Andean Region of South America where the Incas held the crop to be sacred and referred to it as chisaya mama or “mother of all grains”. Quinoa is considered a super foodwith a Protein content exceeding 14% by mass. Nutritional evaluations of Quinoa indicate that it is a source of complete protein. Furthermore, it is a good source of dietary fibre and phosphorus and is high in magnesium and iron. Quinoa is gluten free and a source of calcium, and thus is useful for vegans and those who are gluten and lactose intolerant.
